Here are some tips for successful Emailer Campaigns:From: - Include your company name and use a friendly, easy to identify email address - 60% of users decide to open based on From: Subject Line: - Include your company name again in the subject line and include call to action. - The entire subject should not be more than 30-40 characters including spacing - 30% of users decide to open based on Subject Line Content: - Share useful information. Educate the consumer with articles and your expert knowledge. They will appreciate the free knowledge and will be more likely to buy your product or service. - Keep the tone casual and be entertaining! - Put the most important info in upper left of the emailer. - Keep your header image area at a reasonable height so users don't have to scroll down for important info. What NOT to do: - Don't farm lists or trade lists with other companies. You will get high spam reports and could get blocked. - Don't send mass emails from Outlook.
